Irvin Grappling “Phenom” Mike Fowler Eliminates
Every No Gi Grappler’s Frustrations…
How To Make
Maximum
No Gi Grappling Progress
In Minimum Time
4-Year BJJ Black
Belt Champion
Mike Fowler From Maryland Exposes
Little-Known No Gi Grappling Secrets…
And Reveals The Answers To Burning Questions That Every Frustrated
Grappler Wants To Know…
Dear Reader,
If you’re a no gi grappler who wants
to dramatically increase your rate of improvement… if
you’re serious about getting to the “next level”
with your no gi training and technique… if you’re
sick and tired of feeling like you’re just not getting
the questions you want to know answered… if you’re
fed up with instructors ‘holding back’ the real
grappling secrets and not giving you the ‘good stuff’…
then this will be the most exciting letter you’ll ever
read!
Let me explain…
I had an epiphany a while back after masterminding
with some of my students during an open mat session at my
academy.
Here’s what happened…
It was the beginning of the summer last year,
and it was hot – scorching hot. The mats were packed,
and I ran a really tough class with lots of drills, technique
work and a ton of conditioning. Some of my students were getting
ready for some tough tournaments and some were just in there
to get the benefits of hard, focused training.
The Best Way to Get Good…FAST!
Well, after class (as tough as it was), some
of my students (some of whom were high level champions, some
brand new beginners and some real hardcore fighters) still
wanted to stay after and keep perfecting their technique…
and I love that. So I stayed on the mats with them and answered
their questions, fixed some of the problems they were having,
found out some of what they were frustrated with and showed
them some tips they could use right away to make dramatic
improvements in their game.
And they loved it! This mastermind session
after practice lasted over 3 hours, and afterwards I got some
great emails and phone calls from my students who were there,
telling me how much they appreciated me answering the specific
questions they had. A couple of them who came from other schools
actually told me when they’d ask a question after practice,
their old instructor would give a vague half-answer and tell
them to just “put their time in” and they’ll
end up figuring it out.
What to Do If You Don't Have a Black Belt
Instructor
Another one of the problems I noticed was that
these grapplers didn’t really have enough quality references
to study and learn from that came from champion grapplers
who used a proven, systemized method of training and technique
application. (Now sure, don’t get me wrong, there are
some quality products and courses out there – but a
lot of no gi grapplers just don’t know which ones to
get.) Although my students were getting great training when
they came to class, they also wanted to be able to own the
best possible resource to study from when they’re off
the mats.
I thought to myself, “Hmmm… I need
to do something different… something that’s never
been done before….”
So as I laid there in my bed in the middle
of the night, as sore and exhausted as I was, I just couldn’t
sleep. Something was keeping me awake. Then out of nowhere,
BANG! It hit me!
I jolted up out of bed, and yelled, “That’s
it! I’ve got it! I’ll ask the thousands of grapplers
on my email list to find out exactly what they want to know!”
Then I popped open my trusty laptop computer
and went to work… sent a quick email, saying…
“If I was going to make the
world’s best no gi grappling course, what would you
want to have in it? What would you want to learn? What’s
your biggest question that you have about no gi grappling?”
And WOW! What a response I got! It took my
assistant Jim almost 6 months to sort through all the questions
and come up with, literally, the exact things the people on
my list want to know about no gi grappling.
Once we got everything sorted out, we had a
huge list of burning questions that grapplers from all over
the world were just dying to know. We got so many people sending
us messages like, “If you could show me this ‘one
little thing’ that’s all I’d need.”
Some people sent us just one question, some people sent a
bunch… and we meticulously went through each and every
one and made sure we could give you the best possible answers
to each question, leaving ‘no stone unturned,’
as they say.
I met with one of my best students, 4-year
BJJ black belt and multiple-time no gi grappling champion
and now an Abu Dhabi veteran (beating the legendary Renzo
Gracie and submitting multiple-time BJJ Mundial and Abu Dhabi
champion Saulo Ribeiro), Mike Fowler.

Mike was my first choice for this, because one,
it was such an extensive project and Mike’s work ethic
was up to the task, and two, because he’s even a better
teacher than he is a competitor… and he doesn’t
hold anything back whatsoever when he teaches.
He approaches teaching the same way he approaches
competition. He leaves everything he has on the mats, goes
absolutely 100% each time and holds nothing back. Not to mention
all the requests I got to have Mike teach this course since
he’s the one who achieved his BJJ black belt in only
4 years and is accomplished in both gi BJJ and no gi grappling.
When I presented this project to Mike and showed
him all the questions I got from my list of hungry grapplers
eager to learn everything they can about no gi grappling,
he got really excited said, “Coach, I’m ready,
let’s start right now!”
Then we immediately began filming the no gi
grappling course that everyone on my email list asked me for.
You asked for it, and now I’m making it available to
anyone who’s serious about making huge strides in their
no gi grappling game.

Here’s
some of what you’ll learn…
- How to escape
the “Brabo Choke” (there’s actually
an easy little trick to take the pressure off the
choke, make space, and get out – even score!)
- How to make sure you don’t get choked in
the brabo choke even during the transition of your
escape (if you don’t know exactly where to position
your opponent’s arms to stay out of the brabo
choke after your initial escape, you’ll be in
trouble during the transition against good grapplers)
- How to escape the “Head & Arm
Choke,” even if you’re inside of your
opponent’s closed guard
- How to create space to breathe if you get caught
in a head and arm choke so you can “buy some
time” for the escape (doing this makes it really
hard for your opponent to actually finish the choke
– it’ll actually make his arms tired from
squeezing to no avail)
- How to prevent your opponent from taking
your back while you defend the head and arm choke
from inside his closed guard (you’ll see how
you have to position your legs to block his hips –
doing this is a crucial step before you attempt the
escape)
- How to apply pressure when caught in the head and
arm choke to make it hard for your opponent to hold
on, ultimately breaking his grip so you can escape
the choke
- How to escape the head and arm choke when
you’re stuck on the bottom (you’ll see
how to get out of one of the most commonly used submission
holds in both no gi grappling wand MMA)
- How to go from being stuck on the bottom, trapped
in a head and arm choke to being on top of your opponent,
pinning him down (there a specific hand position you’ll
learn that works best in order to maintain your base,
keep pressure on your opponent and force him to release
the choke)
- How to escape the “head and arm choke”
from the bottom of side control
- How to escape the “Heel Hook” –
even when your opponent tries to “block”
you from rolling (you’ll discover what to do
for each block your opponent tries to catch you with
so you can escape)
- How to drill heelhook escapes using a chain
of moves so you can master each escape in a shorter
period of time
- How to escape the toe-hold submission (you’ll
learn how to roll and also how to use your other foot
to help you escape – the foot position is important
on this one)
- How to escape the guillotine from the standing
position (any time you go for a takedown, you’re
in danger of getting guillotined so it’s important
you know how to get out right away)
- Discover what you absolutely “must do”
before trying anything else, every time your opponent
goes for a guillotine choke
- How to take pressure off your opponent’s
guillotine choke
- How to position your head inside the guillotine
choke to make room for you to breathe as you go for
the escape
- How to position your legs and head to take
the pressure off the guillotine choke and ultimately
escape in good position
- How to escape the guillotine by using a vicious
and powerful slam (you’ll see how to generate
the most force and the right body angle you need to
lift your opponent high in the sky so you can slam
him down to the ground with punishing force)
- How to make your opponent carry literally
all your weight when you’re caught inside a
guillotine choke (this will wear down your opponent,
tiring out his arms and his legs)
- How to escape the “North-South Position”
(this is a tough position to be in because your opponent
has so many options and lots of submissions to use
– so it’s a must that you know exactly
what to do, right away, when you get caught underneath
in the north-south position – and you’ll
learn Mike Fowler’s favorite escape from this
position)
- Discover a tricky way to take the pressure
off in the north-south position so you can get the
angle needed to roll your opponent over and wind up
on top
- How to escape from the “Figure-4 Back Control”
(this is one of the most frustrating places to be
if you don’t know how to get out – it’s
literally “game over” if you don’t
know the escape from this position)
- How to make your opponent tapout, even
if he’s got your back in the figure-4 position
(your opponent will never see this coming, and it’s
easier than you may think to apply it)
- Discover the more important “positional principles”
when you’re stuck on the bottom that will make
it difficult for your opponent to catch any submission
holds
- How to escape the straight armlock from
the mount using 2 variations you can try each and
every time you get caught (and also see where to position
your arm and hand to take away pressure)
- How to not only escape the armbar, but wind up
on top of your opponent, putting pressure on him so
you can immediately pass the guard
- How to escape the “Knee On Belly”
position (you’ll learn the escape you need to
do right away so you can escape immediately, before
your opponent can even score any points… and
actually end up on top)
- How to escape the “Double Armbar” (people
who know how to do these correctly can catch them
quick – but there’s actually a really
easy movement you can do to make your opponent’s
legs slip right off so he can’t secure the lock)
- How to escape the headlock (you’ll
learn 2 variations along with the key principles you
must follow in order to stay out of trouble and escape)
- How to “untrap” your arm when caught
in a headlock (you’ll also see how you can transition
from a variation of the headlock escape into a shoulder
lock so you not only get out, but get the submission)
- Learn the “worst case scenarios”
of the headlock and see what you must do to avoid
them
- How to counter the “X-Guard” (for anyone
who’s seen some of the top BJJ Black Belts in
the world dominate the competition, like Marcelo Garcia
for instance, knows that once you’re caught
in the X-guard by someone who’s good at it,
it’s basically “game over” –
but not after you learn these counters that are actually
pretty simple and efficient)
- How to defeat the “Half Guard Lockdown”
position (this move is painful and if you don’t
know how to get out of it, you’re gonna be stuck
there for a while, in pain and frustrated)
- Discover a quick little trick to submit your opponent
when he tries to lock you down in the half guard (when
you see this nasty counter, you’ll be begging
your opponent to try the lockdown position so you
can make him be one who’s grimacing in pain
and tapping out in submission)
- Discover what Mike Fowler believes is the
“Best Guard Pass” (Mike’s used this
pass successfully in both no gi and gi, at the highest
levels of competition including the Abu Dhabi Championships
and Mundials)
- A brutal no gi throw you can use in competition
that’ll send your opponent crashing to the mat
on his back (this throw is also great to use as a
defense to wrestling shots)
- Discover what Mike’s favorite takedown
he uses in competition (this takedown is a safe one
and it kills one of the most commonly used tie-ups
that grapplers use to setup takedowns)
- How to beat the “collar tie” (when your
opponent collar ties you, you’ll have an instant
“go-to takedown” that’ll put him
down quickly)
- Learn a sweep that works well in both gi
and no gi (this sweep also works well in mixed martial
arts competition)
- How to quickly master the “Butterfly Sweep”
(this will always work as long as you put everything
in the “right place” – there are
a lot of “inner workings” that people
don’t use when attempting this move; however,
you’ll get to see all the details so you can
perfect the technique)
- Discover a key movement you do with one
of your legs during the butterfly sweep to get more
height and elevation, making it harder for your opponent
to defend
- How to get into the ideal “guard passing
position” after you sweep so you can pass right
away and turn a 2-point move into a 5-point move
- Discover a sneaky setup for the head-and-arm
choke
- How to “wear out” your opponent’s
arms while on top in sidemount to make it easier for
you to setup submissions like armbar, keylocks, or
the head-and-arm choke
- Learn the proper head positioning for the
head-and-arm choke that will help you create the most
pressure so your opponent taps quicker
- Discover the key details you need to know when
doing the head-and-arm choke so you can make sure
that you get the tapout and don’t just end up
wearing out your arms (a lot of grapplers don’t
do this choke the right way and they just squeeze
for dear life and get tired – learn how to do
this right so you can cinch up the choke right away
and have your opponent tapping in no time flat)
- Discover the technical details of the omoplata
submission
- How to properly finish the omoplata (a lot of grapplers
try to finish this submission the wrong way, and they
probably don’t know some of the things they’re
doing are actually helping their opponents to defend)
- How to make your omoplata armbars tight
like a vice so you get the tap every time
- How to get out of the “Reverse Triangle”
(many times when passing the guard, you can get caught

As you can see, the undisputed PROOF of how
well these no gi grappling training principles and techniques
work is there, plain as day. As a team, we prove it each and
every time we step on the mat to compete. We’ve consistently
had the #1 kids grappling team in the nation for the past
4 years, and we’re constantly putting out world class
no gi grappling competitors, year in and year out.
I’m not saying all this to brag, or to
impress you, or anything like that... I’m actually saying
this to impress upon you how important it is to surround yourself
with quality people on the mats who can help you solve your
problems right away, as they arise, instead of having to just
sit back and wait and hope the answer will come to you one
day out of the blue. That’s not the way I believe grappling
should be.
That’s why I had so many of the students
on my email list let me know about their problems and frustrations.
They asked me their biggest questions about no gi grappling
and I took it upon myself and my team to answer every single
one in order to create this no gi grappling course which I
call, “No Gi Made Easy.”
This product wasn’t the easiest one to
create though. It took a long time to go through all the responses
to the survey (there were so many, and we had to read every
single one to make sure nothing you wanted slipped through
the cracks)… we shot for days, meticulously going over
question after question (and of course while answering the
questions, Mike and I would both come up with extra bonus
tips, strategies, training methodologies and techniques we
felt absolutely needed to be part of this course.

Here’s even more
of what you’ll learn…
- How to take the back – even when
you’re locked down and pinned flat on your back
(a lot of grapplers just give up when they get stuck
in this position, especially against a bigger, stronger
opponent – but that’s only because they
don’t know what to do from this position)
- How to secure your hooks to get the choke during
the transition from bottom to top
- How to position your hands while doing the
rear naked choke to keep your opponent from defending
- How to sweep people from the bottom half-guard
- How to use the “2 Legs Vs. 1”
principle from the half-guard to generate power and
height in your sweeps (this principle will also open
up lots of different options for you, depending on
how you want to sweep your opponent)
- A fantastic X-Guard sweeping series that works no
matter what your body type (flexible or inflexible,
tall or short, weak or strong… no matter how
you’re built, you’ll be able to execute
these techniques by using the body positioning principles
that Mike Fowler demonstrates)
- A devastating submission from the X-guard
that’ll have your opponent screaming in pain
before he even gets a chance to tap (this one is dangerous
and the pain comes on so quick, your opponent won’t
know what’s going on until it’s too late
– they call these kinds of submissions “screamers”)
- How the X-Guard can be used to sweep and submit
people (yes, the X-Guard ain’t just for sweeping
anymore… there are actually some really sneaky
submissions you can catch your opponent off guard
with)
- The X-Guard “Shin Crush” &
“Thigh Crush” (these submissions seem
like they come out of nowhere, and they’re really
easy to do, no matter how you’re built)
- Escapes for when your opponent is on your back (you’ll
even get some “worst case scenario” defenses)
- How to drastically increase your chances
of escaping the rear naked choke when your opponent
is on your back (you’ll see the escape that
Mike Fowler has used against the best competition
in the world to get out of this dangerous position)
- Ways to help you last longer while you’re
caught in a “Mata Leon Choke” to make
your opponent tired (if you get caught in a choke,
it pretty much means “lights out” unless
you have some things to do to defend and wear out
your opponent’s arms so hopefully you can escape
– this is especially good if you’re in
a competition match and you have to run out the clock)
- How to escape the back mount with hooks
and secure the half guard so you can get the sweep
- How to finish someone from within their guard (yes,
it’s possible to submit people from within their
own guard)
- Sneaky “out of nowhere” attacks
for when you’re inside the guard (you’ll
learn some great “last ditch effort” submissions
to go for when you’re caught inside your opponent’s
guard – this is great for when you’re
behind in the match and need a submission to win)
- The “best escapes” from the triangle
choke
- How to defend the triangle choke before
it’s completely locked on
- How to position your body so you can increase the
efficiency of your triangle defense escapes
- How to break your opponent’s leg grips
when you’re caught in a triangle choke
- The “worst case scenario” triangle escape
(you’ll learn what you need to do if you get
caught in the triangle choke and it’s completely
locked up)
- How to get out of an armbar (this armbar
escape will also put you in the perfect position to
pass the guard and score)
- How to escape from a kneebar (if your opponent has
your leg straightened out for a straight leg lock
you’ll know what to do right away so you can
escape)
- How to escape from the rear-naked choke
(most times if a grappler gets caught in this choke,
it’s game over – but there are ways to
escape this hold)
- The “best escape” from the guillotine
choke when you get caught inside the guard
- How to counter the “Anaconda Choke”
(to get out of the choke it’s important to know
when you’re in danger for it as well…
so you’ll learn not only how to escape this
choke but also how to defend it before it’s
even locked on completely)
- How to escape the kimura (you’ll get a variety
of proven escapes from both top and bottom)
- The one simple straight ankle lock escape
that get rid of virtually all ankle locks (and it’s
a safe and super easy movement – just this one
simple little movement will eliminate your opponent’s
ability to catch you in any more straight ankle locks)
- The best way to escape the omoplata (the omoplata
is a very good technical hold, but there are a lot
of ways to escape with and also a lot of submissions
you can transition to from your escapes)
- How to counter the omoplata with a submission
hold of your own (this one is Mike Fowler’s
favorite escape/counter because it ends in a finishing
move)
- How to escape from the “paintbrush keylock”
(you’ll learn 2 escapes to use, even if you’re
all-the-way stuck in the hold)
- How to get out of the cross-side position
- How to properly roll your opponent over to get out
of the cross-side position (lots of grapplers do this
wrong because they just try to bridge and roll without
creating the best angle and having the best body positioning…
you’ll see the one simple thing you need to
do to make sure you end up on top)
- How to escape the mounted position
- A big mistake grapplers make once they get mounted
that makes it really hard to escape
- Discover the “transitional mount escape”
Mike Fowler has used successfully in competition all
the way from blue belt to black belt and against the
world’s best BJJ and grappling competitors
- The most effective mount escapes you can use to
transition into scoring positions (you’ll learn
not only how to defend the mount but how to be offensive
and score during transitions so you wind up in the
best control positions on the mat)
- How to escape an “inverted heel hook”
or reverse heel-hook (there’s this one thing
you need to do right away – not doing this could
get you injured)
- How to counter the knee-cut pass (this counter will
literally stop your opponent in his tracks, put him
off balance and set him up for easy sweeps)
- Discover what things you have to put in
place to stop the “knee-cut-across guard pass”
before your opponent can even start the actual pass
- How to drill the counter to the knee-cut-across
guard pass
- 3 “problem solving details”
to neutralize your opponent’s standing knee-cut
pass
- How to “impose your game” on your competition
(there’s a giant flaw a lot of grapplers have
in their mindset and the way the roll that allows
their opponents to gain a competitive edge…
now you’ll know how to be the one to gain that
edge over your competition)
- What habits you need to start implementing
in your grappling/BJJ program immediately to gain
a competitive edge and raise your rate of improvement
by leaps and bounds (Mike Fowler did this one thing
throughout his BJJ and grappling career which helped
enable him to get his BJJ black belt in only 4 years
and continue to be one of the top names in BJJ and
grappling competition all over the world)
- You’ll see one of Mike Fowler’s favorite
“new and unorthodox” sweeps he’s
consistently been successful with in world class competition
(although the sweep is unorthodox and a lot of grapplers
won’t know how to deal with it, it’s not
hard to do… in fact, the movement is actually
pretty easy to pull off) and you’ll also learn
the counter you can use to defend it and pass the
guard (why Mike decided to show the counter to his
favorite new sweep, I have no idea)
- You’ll learn killer setups for the
“Kimura Armlock” (you’ll know the
setups that have worked to submit some of the best
grapplers in the world)
- Revealed: Mike Fowler’s favorite Kimura setup
from the top half-guard (this is Mike’s “bread
& butter” go-to finishing move)
- How to prevent getting bridged over as you
set up the Kimura from the top position
- You’ll learn where to distribute your weight
on top so you can keep your opponent pinned down flat
as you set up your armlocks
- A transitional move you can use from the
top half guard against grapplers who have a really
strong bridge (for example, wrestlers have powerful
and explosive bridges, but now you can neutralize
their strength and use it against them to improve
your position and set up more submissions)
- How to lock up the Kimura “the right way”
so your opponent can’t break the grip and defend
- How to maintain guard when your opponent
starts to get control
- How to defend the guard pass from the closed guard
(you might actually laugh at how easy some of these
defenses are, but regardless, they work… and
that’s all that really matters in the end, isn’t
it?)
- How to break your opponent’s grips
and holds when he’s trying to pass your guard
(before your opponents can pass, they need to have
the right grips and positioning… now you’ll
know how to keep them off balance and in bad position
so they can’t even begin to pass your guard)
- How to break your opponent’s posture inside
your guard (it’s harder to catch submissions
when your opponent has good posture; so the more you
can break your opponent down inside your guard, the
easier it’ll be to sweep and/or submit him)
- Learn a major mistake most grapplers make
as they attempt to pass that you’ll be able
to exploit from inside your guard (knowing this will
also prevent you from making the same mistake, making
your guard passing that much more effective)
- How to sweep your opponents after they attempt the
“knee-in-the-butt” guard opening (this
sweep is super easy – it’s actually just
a slight little hip movement that makes your opponent
fall right over like a stack of bricks)
- You’ll know where your opponent’s
weight should be while passing so you can redistribute
it to your advantage (and there are actually a lot
of mistakes grapplers make with their weight distribution
that you can take advantage of)
- How to sweep your opponent straight to the mounted
position (turns a 2-point sweep into a 6-point move
in competition and gives you the most dominant possible
position in grappling or MMA)
- Is there such thing as a “failsafe”
move or a failsafe guard pass? (You’ll find
out Mike’s answer when you invest in this course)
- Discover one of the biggest mistakes grapplers make
when inside the guard (if you make these mistakes,
you’re gonna be in big trouble against tough
grapplers, especially in competition)
- How to keep your base so you don’t
get swept while opening your opponent’s legs
inside the closed guard
- How to apply the most pressure to instantly break
your opponent’s grip around your body
- How to “trap” your opponent’s
legs and hips after you open the guard to make it
easy for you to pass right through
- How to make your opponent’s legs open right
up for you and how to plow through his guard and wind
up in a great control position to set up your submissions
- The principles and concepts involved with
guard passing (one of the key components of Team Lloyd
Irvin’s success on the mat is that we make sure
out team learns the primary principles of grappling
instead of just the moves – the principles are
the most important part of everything and that’s
what you’ll get)
- Find out why this guard passing method works so
well against the world’s top grapplers
- How to improve the guard passes you currently
know and how to make your guard passes at least twice
as tight
- How to limit your opponent’s hip movement
while inside the guard so he can’t defend your
pass or “shrimp” back to guard
- Discover what you need to do during every
single guard pass in order to shut down your opponent’s
defenses
- Key points to guard passing that keep your opponent’s
legs open and that keep you out of danger while passing
the guard
- How to create so much pressure on your opponent’s
leg during a guard pass, you’ll actually be
able to tap him out with a “kneebar-like”
submission
- Know where to position your head during guard passing
to shut down your opponent’s movement (lots
of grapplers are lazy with head position and some
just don’t know where their head should be during
passing; if you put your head in the wrong place during
a guard pass, you’ll never pass against a good
grappler, and even worse, you’ll probably get
tapped out)
- Find out what you should never, ever do
during passing that’ll get you rolled over,
swept, or even armlocked
- How to steamroll right through the butterfly guard
before your opponent even has a chance to start setting
up any sweeps
- Discover what points you need to cover and
the one thing you absolutely need to control while
passing the guard (this goes for any and every kind
of guard)
- Discover grip fighting secrets for positioning and
control (in jiu-jitsu, grips areeverything –
whether it’s no gi grappling, wrestling, Brazilian
Jiu-Jitsu or Judo – your grips will make the
difference between failure and victory)
- You’ll learn what grips you need to
have and also the grips of your opponent that you
need to break
- You’ll learn what grips you need to let go
of when you’re in danger of getting swept or
submitted (many grapplers make huge mistakes by holding
on to the “wrong grips at the wrong times”
and end up getting into situations they could’ve
easily avoided)
- A key component and gripping principle you
can immediately add to your ground game (as soon you
implement this valuable principle into your training
it will increase your grappling game 2-3 times, easily)
- Discover the weakest point of your opponent’s
grip that you can use to your advantage to easily
break free and gain back your control
- Guard Passing Troubleshooting (you’ll
learn some things you’ll need to watch out for
when passing the guard and you’ll know how to
stay out of trouble)
- How to stop your opponent’s offensive and
defensive grips so you can stay in control of the
match at all times and be one step ahead
- How to greatly reduce your opponent’s
chances of scoring by removing all the things that
he needs to be offensive
- How to immediately neutralize the inverted guard
before your opponent gets a chance to set anything
up to score (the inverted guard is a tough position
to deal with for grapplers who don’t know what
to do… but it’s actually easy to block
it and stop your opponent in his tracks by knowing
just a couple easy things to do)
- World class setups to the basic submission
holds (solid fundamentals and basics will take you
far as a grappler, but it’s the setups that
will take you to the next level against world class
competition)
- How to make your opponent so uncomfortable, he’ll
literally “give you” submissions that
he doesn’t even realize he’s being setup
for (these tips will not only increase the amount
of submissions you’ll catch, it’ll make
it so much easier to finish)
- How to double or even triple your finishing
percentage by maneuvering your body to maximize the
power and tightness of your grips (doing this literally
forces your opponent to make mistakes)
- Discover specific “keylock keys” and
“arm lockdowns” that will dramatically
increase your finishing percentage from the top position
(these grips will take away every possible escape
your opponent has)
- How to master the “Brabo Choke”
(you’ll learn the finer details of this powerful
choke that many grapplers overlook; once you discover
these key elements of the brabo choke, you’ll
be able to master the brabo choke in no time)
- How to make the “Brabo Choke” work for
you all the way from white belt to black belt and
against the top competition in the world
- Discover the “little things”
you don’t see in competition footage (and even
in other instructional videos) that make the brabo
choke work at the elite levels of grappling and BJJ
- How you can put extra points on the scoreboard while
you setup your brabo choke (sure, a match should be
all about getting the submission, but sometimes in
certain situations you’ll need to score those
extra points which could be the difference between
winning and losing)
- How to use the brabo choke to either choke
your opponent out or as a setup for a guard pass (either
way, you’ll learn how to transition back and
forth depending on what you need to do in the match)
- “What do you do from the cross-side top when
your opponent gets the underhooks?”
- How to “kill the underhooks”
when you’re on top passing the guard or looking
for submissions (you’ll learn ways to use your
opponent’s underhooks to your advantage)
- How and where to apply weight and pressure on top
when your opponent puts his hands in “the right
place” (you’ll be able to pin down your
opponent and block his defenses to make it easier
to get your opponent tired and catch submissions)
- How to make your opponent so uncomfortable
on the bottom that he will literally give up his arms
for you to tap him out
- How to “trap” your opponent’s
arms and force him to get into the wrong positions
(these setups are brutal and your opponent will be
wincing in pain from your pressure even before you
slap on the submission)
- How to use the basic grappling moves in
world class competition (it’s a fact that the
best grapplers in the world all have solid fundamental
skills – even the ones who do all those “fancy”
moves – the basics are still there… now
you’ll see how they’re able to make those
basic moves look so darn easy to pull off against
the toughest competition out there)
- Revealed: the “little things” that the
greatest grapplers in the world are using in world
class competition that make even the most basic moves
look easy to pull off against elite-level BJJ black
belts
- How to have better success with the basic
moves you may already know (there are important details
that are often overlooked by grapplers, and when you
learn these tips you’ll drastically improve
your finishing rate)
- How to plow through your opponent’s armbar
defenses and finish the match with a submission
- How to finish the straight armbar from the
guard, even when your opponent has good defense (these
counters to your opponent’s defenses are a must
because as you progress through the ranks and fight
tougher opponents, you’re gonna be encountering
more and more grapplers with tough defense)
- Mike Fowler exposes the weak spots of your opponent’s
arm and shows you how to take advantage of those weaknesses
to counter your opponent’s defense
- A “flow series” of submission
holds you can go to that you can chain together so
that you’re always on the attack, even if your
opponent has great defense (being able to flow from
one submission to another is crucial as your level
of grappling gets higher and higher… and this
flow series is easy to learn and you don’t need
to be strong or flexible to do it)
- You’ll discover at least 6 submission holds
you can instantly flow to from a simple armlock from
the guard
- Discover the “holes” in your
opponent’s defenses you can instantly take advantage
of to ensure you finish the match in a submission
- You’ll discover a proven “6-in-1”
submission series from the top that Mike Fowler has
successfully used all the way up to the top black
belt tournaments in the world
- You’ll learn at least 5 submissions
you can flow to from the triangle choke when your
opponent defends (this means you’ll have options
and won’t even get stuck trying to “force”
a move on a grappler with good defense… you’ll
now be able to flow and catch the “easy”
submission)
- Discover a submission from inside the guard you
can catch and finish no matter how much stronger your
opponent is
- How to transition from submission hold to
submission hold (you’ll learn how to go from
finishing move to finishing move while attacking your
opponent… this will literally make you a “submission
machine”)
- Key concepts of the “Toe-Heel Footlock”
(toe-holds are effective moves and work well in competition,
however, there are some key components to the footlock
you absolutely must master before being able to submit
top-notch grapplers in competition)
- Find out Mike Fowler’s “match
strategy” for footlocks and discover what he
believes is the best time to go for footlocks in competition
(remember, Mike has submitted some of the world’s
best grapplers with leglocks and toe-holds in competition)
- How to get the best grip possible for the toe-hold
that’ll make your opponent tap before he’s
got a chance to defend
- How to demolish your opponent’s footlock
defense by knowing where and how to grip and the little,
easy adjustments you need to make to tighten up the
lock and finish the move
- Revealed: killer footlock submission series and
counter attack series you can do from the top or the
bottom
- How to catch the toe-hold footlock from
a bunch of different angles (when you see how many
of these toe-holds are open during the course of a
match, you’ll go crazy thinking of how many
submission opportunities you’ve probably missed)
- How to keep your opponent from footlocking you (this
is actually a really simple tip you can instantly
implement, but unfortunately most grapplers get lazy
with it or simply don’t realize they’re
open for so many footlocks until they’ve already
tapped out)
- The mandatory main points of the knee-on-belly
position (how to not only get to knee-on-belly, you’ll
be able to control it and keep the position as long
as you’d like to)
- How to unleash crushing pressure on your opponent
(when your opponent can’t breathe, it’ll
force him to make a mistake… your opponent will
actually have to move “the wrong ways”
just to relieve all that uncomfortable pressure)
- How to escape the knee-on-belly position
(these escapes are so effective, you’ll actually
be able to “bait” your opponent into getting
the knee-on-belly just so you can use it for a sweep
and get back on top)
- You’ll learn where to apply your pressure
when you setup the knee-on-belly so you can easily
get to the position
- Discover the “Do’s & Don’ts”
of the knee-on-belly position so you can keep your
control, keep your crippling pressure and stop your
opponent from escaping
- Discover the 5 key points for the knee-on-belly
position that will make your opponent unable to breathe
(you’ll have to see when you watch it…
even the most experienced grapplers won’t be
able to get enough air into their lungs… and
when you can’t breathe, you make mistakes…
making it easy for you to snatch up a submission)
- How to set up sweeps and reversals –
even when you’re on the bottom and your opponent
has his knee on your belly
- How to make your positions tight and how to force
uncomfortable pressure on your opponent at all times
- And even more…

The total amount for this 6 DVD set is currently
at a shocking and embarrassingly low amount. After all, I'm
giving you the no gi grappling secrets I usually only share
with my most loyal students. I didn't learn what I know for
nothing. I paid a heavy price, physically and financially.
It would be no exaggeration if I told you I've spent tens
of thousands of dollars as well as thousands of hours building
one of the top teams in the world and putting together these
proven, systemized training systems for grapplers and combat
athletes.
What's more, those I've taught these secrets
to have dominated in both no gi and BJJ competition…
these training secrets work – plain and simple. The
results speak for themselves.
As a matter of fact, I wanted to prove to the
world how well the technique application works, I came out
of “semi-retirement” to compete in the 2008 No
Gi World Championships and I took home the gold medal. I also
brought with me one of my students, 19-year old BJJ Brown
Belt JT Torres and he took home the gold in his no gi brown
belt division.
And just recently, Mike Fowler and JT took a
trip out to Japan to compete in the Asian Open Jiu-Jitsu Championships,
and they both took home gold medals – Mike won gold
his the open weight division and JT won gold in his brown
belt division with 9 matches and 7 submissions!

When you think about how much money people
have wasted learning watered-down no gi techniques that don’t
really work in the highest levels of competition, I don't
think I'd be off-base to charge $500.00 for this 6 DVD set.
But I'm not going to do that, even though I probably should.
So here's the deal: I officially released this
program in 2008, for $197 dollars. And I still get thank you
letters from grapplers who refer to this massive course on
a monthly and weekly basis.
But as a special way to say thank you for just
joining my list, I’m going to let you get your hands
on this DVD course -No Gi Made Easy for the ridiculously low
price of just $149 plus S&H U.S. ($12 foreign). But only
if you place your order NOW.
Just to make myself crystal clear…if you
click off of this page you will never be able to get No Gi
Made Easy for the low price of $149 ever again.
And so, at this point, if you've come this
far with me, you know what to do. Hit the submit button shown
below and you'll be on your way.
Sincerely,

Lloyd Irvin
